German Blend
Doing good with pleasure
A German Charity Whisky
For years, we’ve enjoyed a wonderful collaboration with the whisky community.
We’ve been delighted to receive numerous donations, generated through the initiatives of whisky clubs and individuals.
And those who know us are aware that we’re always on the lookout for unique ways to raise awareness about our work and collect donations. This is how the idea for a German charity whisky came about.
What exactly are we planning?
We’re asking German distilleries if they’d like to participate in this project and requesting a donation of one liter of new make spirit.
We’ll collect these donations and categorize them as either peated or unpeated.
Once we’ve collected enough donations, we’ll find two beautiful casks and create two German blends
And because the new make spirit is donated, all profits will go directly to our projects, helping the people in the Aksum region.
How old should this whisky be?
To become a whisky, it will need at least three years.
But we have a strong interest in making it not just any whisky, but a good whisky…
That’s why we don’t want to specify an age from the start and will let the whisky mature in the time it needs.
We say THANK YOU to everyone who donated a bottle of spirits!
And we invite everyone else to become part of this unique fundraising campaign.
