Until 2009, Negassty Abraha gave the school personally 1.700 € coming from donations.

This donation was originally created for a drinking fountain. However, the preliminary investigation, revealed that the ground water was not suitable for drinking and an additional water treatment is not financially viable. Therefore, with the donations of money, we decided to invest in the more needed toilets, then at that time the school had – more than 700 pupils and no toilets!  

The children, the school director and the mayor of the city of Axum were excited about the new toilets. It was even reported in the Ethiopian TV! Negassty Abraha took, representative for all, a certificate from the school director Fisseha Lisanewerk G/Kirstos.
